Here are some common questions with answers to help you better understand what Komata products is all about.
Q. What products do you carry?
A. We carry bagged wood, Bagged kindling wood, bulk firewood, fencing and Landscape timber products. The bagged wood is mostly for convenience stores eg Service Stations, Grocery outlets and restaurants; pizza chains use it primarily for cooking and/or smoking.
Q. Why are Komata products considered to be the best?
A. Our bagged firewood is hand picked and all pieces are approximately 12 inches in length. All wood is stacked on pallets and wind dried and then bagged in heavy duty bags.
Q. How do we buy Bulk firewood?
A. All our bulk firewood is sold by the cubic metre. We can deliver as much or as little as you require.
Q. What type of Bulk wood do you carry?
A. Split pine is our main seller, although we do have untreated rough sawn mill slabs.
Q. How long has Komata Products Firewood been in business?
A. We have a family history that goes back four generations.
Q. What products are planned for the future?
A. We are in the process of establishing our own milled products, timber for landscaping and fencing materials. These products will maintain the same high quality standard as all our other fine products and will be sold at affordable prices.
Q. What types of cooking/smoking wood do you carry?
A. We carry Manuka ( T Tree) . This smoking/cooking wood is used in restaurants, Pizza ovens . Because of limited supply we do not have a readily available supply to sell to house holders.
